[RBS] - So it's been a month already

That awkward moment when you realize you wanted to post something last Friday and notice you kinda forgot it atogether with the whole week in between till now too.
Well, yeah... sucks, doesn't it? This calls for the facepalm-lion!

But to be fair - I was somewhat held up by the most recent IEM event during the last week and it proved I was maybe a bit too successful on my endeavor to pretend the world outside my apartment doesn't exist any more. And now, the moment has arisen in which I will change that yet again! Oh you silly writer you...

So, might as well view this as some sort of return to at least parts of my schedule. And no - I haven't been doing nothing for the whole time, even during my holiday in the U.A.E. I was in fact rather productive... which sadly fell off a bit again after re-entering Europe *cough*
Anyways, I'm here to finally get done with my editing spree for Bloodstained Shadows - which takes far longer than I would have ever anticipated, but I'd rather take it slow and do it right than rushing it and jacking it up big time. Also in the grand scheme of things there is the start of my next actual story, whilst Loner's Peak is still hanging about out there playing the waiting game with and for me.

But I am feeling rather tired right now and I can't really tell when I'll be falling asleep again so I'd leave it at that for right.
As always, thanks for reading, have a great weekend. Posting will pick up again as of now - don't give procrastination a chance!
Marc, fierce, eager and sleepy

P.S.: kittehs incoming
P.P.S.: several kittehs up - prepare for bad humor

[RBSUM] So... uhm what to type?

First post of the month about nine days in? Yeah... beast mode engaged.
I'm trying really hard not to repeat myself from my last post but it's still kinda the same. I've been wrapping my brain around the whole editing business ever since and I'm coming along fairly consistently. For what it's worth I already knew the second part of Bloodstained Shadows would be rather harrowing so I'll just have to put up with it I guess.
But no worries! Everything will be done sooner or later. Just have a little bit more patience with me. (And I'm well aware of the fact that pleading for 'patience' in the Internet equals to something like 'Please throw a rock at my face.') Anyhow with all the unfortunate distractions about and around, like for instance - studying or looking into the whole teacher thing again or flying to Dubai, it'll take just a little bit longer.
On the plus side of things I'm really happy with how the story turned out so far and I can't wait to upload the proper finished version. (God I feel stupid for uploading the first one.)

Scheduled updates or at least something on the likes of that will commence again in March, as I'm more or less out of reach of my laptop for a good while from next week onwards. All that leaving the country stuff.

And I'll upload a bunch of kitties once I'll get to my ma's place or well... at least at some point over the weekend. Sounds like a deal? Hm... why am I asking? Sure it does... You'll just have to take it anyways...

But that's all from me for the moment. As always thanks for reading (and your patience with me).
Marc, slowly advancing forward.

[RBSUM] - Yeah, I'm falling behind

... on the schedule. I know I know, I'll make it up to you somehow.
But today's post is not about making those excuses but rather giving the reason. I'm feeling sick as of lately (and I didn't sleep too well last night) so getting even the few things edited today was a no-go. My minds going on a rampage and concentrating seems next to impossible. Not that this would particularly get on my nerves or make me feel "sick" in any way or form, it's actually the other way round. Concerning my personal life... not so much with what I'd like to call "work".
I'm just blabbering about pointless stuff most of the time, which is especially funny and a bit stressful if three people want to talk to me at the same time about totally different things... as if that wouldn't be hard enough clear-minded.
So that's the hard life of Marc Winter, aspiring author for you... but for real ... I'm kinda under the weather right now and I didn't get much done because of 683 Marc's somewhere up there, each roaring his head into a different direction, all pulling on different strings. I did manage to get over to editing a few pages of Bloodstained Shadows and will continue on with that, once I feel better again I'm sure the pace will also pick up... deadlline's pretty much the 10th of february for me so I'll aim for that... should not be too much of a problem all in all. The most strain part is without doubt part II: Memories of the Twilight, and I'm about halfway through that already... part III and IV will be quite fun I think. I'm really looking forward to those.
But for as of right now I'll better get myself to sleep so I'll hopefully feel a lot fitter by tomorrow already.

As always, thanks for listening to my whining, good night or 'good day' to each of you,
Marc... always with the sickness

[RBSUM] - Happy New Year ... again!

I know, I know. I'm repeating myself. Quite frankly I'm well aware of that, be sure about that.
Nevertheless... Happy New Year everybody!
I'm pretty sure a lot of you out there will already know, but for those who didn't: Today's the Chinese new year, so they'll be celebrating this now for the next 15(!) days - party on! But more importantly - it's a year of the dragon. And as a dragon myself this means for me not only that I'm turning 24 in September, but yeah a few other things as well.
Especially as the past has shown to me, rabbit-years (in this most recent case: the major part of 2011) are usually filled by quite the bunch of negative events, only to be followed by the highly prosperous dragon-year.

Right about now, directly after stating this, I'm sure a few, maybe even a lot of you are thinking "to hell with these superstitions" and I'd just like to say that I don't necessarily believe in them either.
Yet what I do believe in are two other things.
First of which being human willpower. You have to really want something to be able to achieve it and this strong willpower will be able to create paths for you that you never would have imagined to exist. Your own imaginations sets the limits to your success!
And the other one, directly relating to number one - if you really believe in something, are talking yourself into it... it's gonna become true.
Really... it's the way all sorts of horoscopes work. Usually they are vaguely written enough so that almost everything would fit the prediction and it's never gonna be wrong. A lot of people see that as something bad... but truth be told - it's more about what you make of it than the actual wording of one little scrap of text. If you believe in the horoscope and wanted for it to turn into reality and the usual stuff kicks in... well... it worked out, didn't it? For you and the person who wrote the whatever.
Of course I understand that this point of view isn't for a lot of people and I'm okay with that. I'm not even trying to argue. Only thing I'm saying is: this one's mine and I like it if it works out (and hey..., it did for me so far.)

But enough about all the controversial aspects of this new year (and I didn't even mention that aliens are apparently going to kill us all by the end of the year just because the CYCLICAL calender of the Mayan doesn't switch into its next cycle but rather tells us all to go die in a fire, err by water... yeah right) let's make the best of it, no matter which calendar you are following. It's gonna be a busy year, I already know that much.
I already said it before, but I just like the sound of it:
Let's shoot for the stars and even manage to get there, because: why the hell not?

On a side note - first part of Bloodstained Shadows is done with the re-editing. And Scarlet Dawn is now 11 pages with roughly 8.000 words longer. And I didn't even change a thing concerning the actual story, as it will be left untouched, just as mentioned. Next up is part two - Memories of the Twilight. I'll probably start on that as soon as this blog post goes live.
I'd also like to point you guys to -> over here <- where you will find a 4.400 (4.800?) long short concerning the same topic. Again... just read it as fantasy if you're not into the WoW business, believe me, it's worth it - and leave a review if you'd be so kind.

As always, thank you very much for your attention.

[RBS] - It's Sunday somewhere...

Well, most certainly yes... and that's all I wanted to state for this update... good bye again.

...

What? You still here? Shouldn't you be sleeping or something? Ah well... might as well tell you that I just got home from visiting friends, playing a game of 'Let's hunt down Dracula' as we don't have any chance of killing him at all because he's from a time when vampires were still dangerous and cool and not solely sparkly. But enough hate for the strange vampires for one uh, night.
I probably should give in to the strange feeling of wanting to sleep for a change and collapse on my bed for now. Tomorrow will be another fun day of sending queries and likewise entertaining stuff.

Anyhow, enjoy the rest of your (not-so-much)Sunday and have a hopefully, great start into the new week coming up. See ya Tuesday with some actual updates and not only me talking about... well, nothing. I might even think about posting something small from the prologue of 'Fool's Flight' - sounds good? Hoped as much.

As always, thanks for reading.
Marc, apparently Mina Harker and Lord Godalming at the same time.

[RBS] - Green Stuff everywhere!

...at least when I turn my head to the right.
Those lights... It really is pathetically easy to make me happy if you know how...

Anyways, I've been taking my old warlock out, giving him a spin for a change as the weekend slowly but surely comes to a close here in Germany. But I'm well aware that you aren't necessarily interested in knowing precisely how I wasted my time during the last couple of days so I'll keep it to a minimum on that account.

And I'm well aware that I'm currently not posting too many updates on actual stuff I'm working on. That's because, as I've mentioned already, there isn't much to talk about. Loner's Peak reached the stage where I can do hardly anything but play a waiting game on, believe me, several different levels. Yet that's how the world apparently rolls with these kinds of things.
And Fool's Flight is mainly about gathering and sorting out plot elements in my head and offline-notes at the moment and even that is going rather... slow. I've reached a point where my head starts spewing out 'critical errors' when I rethink a few things,  because I want to go too deep into matter that I, well, don't really understand at the moment. And writing stuff you don't know about? It's not too uncommon when you think about most Sci-Fi or Fantasy stuff and is usually solved by putting up your own rules for the world you're creating, but yeah... seems I'm not totally happy with those rules right now. And for all our sakes... I'd be better if I take the time and do it properly and be satisfied with the results.
Maybe the upcoming change of scenery will help me out on those accounts as in a week from now, I'll be posting my Sunday update from my mom's place back in good ol' Saxony. Meeting the newest addition to the family... our new little kitty-cat. I'll upload a picture of the young mistress, promise.

Besides, I wanted to use the week before Christmas to get some work done anyhow.
But until then, there's still some time to use wisely (a.k.a. waste) and get a few things sorted out. Like getting a new passport... or putting up the pin board I got presented with yesterday.

So as always, thanks for staying around, listening to my ramblings. Enjoy your third of advent or just the weekend in general, light a candle or something like that.

[RBS] - Comfy & Cozy

Ah yes... yet another Sunday awaits us in world demanding to claim our place in life and the part of the the great cake everybody wants to have a piece of which.
BUT it is also the second advent and another great opportunity to enjoy yourself with a hot cup of coffee or tea next a pleasantly warm fireplace... or at least light a candle (or rather two) to cherish the Christmas spirit as it slowly descends upon people.

Yeah, I'll stop there for now... there's enough of a chance that I'll get enough shit for those few lines as they stand already and well, there's enough people in this world who simply can't stand this holiday / don't celebrate it / think of it as way too commercialised nowadays. Admittedly, concerning the last part - they have a point. Nevertheless it remains to each person individually to make of these few days a year what they believe in is the best. (So... stop hatin'!)

For me, the last weeks been a whole lot of nothing, except for me mesmerized by a chain of green lights. For today I got my hands on a shiny new notebook to write more stuff down into and I'm currently looking forward to that, though I'm not entirely sure for what story I should use it. Or if I should reserve it for something completely different.

The things I still got planned for the remainder of the day include going ahead in buying a train-ticket to Saxony for the Sunday in two weeks - for visiting the family - drinking the tea that's already going cold as I'm still typing away and maybe lighting a couple of candles on my own. Not to forget the whole 'staring at the green lights' nonsense from the last few days.

By the way... If you haven't had the chance to do so already. I'd recommend checking out the latest part of my short "The Bamboo Labyrinth" that I uploaded the other day. It's right over here and should provide a bit more entertainment value than me going on about, well, stuff.

And just if you were wondering... I originally had something planned for today... something to talk about and give this post an actual reason behind its existence... but... I forgot. I know, I know... I should just make a list... write stuff down. It's not like that's the usual stuff I do, isn't it? But it's too late now! Deal with it... especially if you read this far.
Nevertheless... I will try to waste less of your precious time in the future, my dearest readers. I could go ahead and turn the good old Short-update-madness into a two-per-week thing... it's not that short honestly and well... why not, eh? That way I'd be forced to come up with more new content and not only ramblings...
I'll think about it and maybe a couple of other possibilities...

For now... thanks for reading despite the pointless nature of today, enjoy your weekend, cherish the [insert holiday name here] spirit and give a bit of warmth to the people you like/love or just goddamn know.
Marc, who still can't get over those green lights...

[RBS] - And the first candle...

Well hello there, all of you.
So... did everybody remember to light a candle on this first Advent Sunday? (Christmas keeps on drawing closer!)
Aw who am I asking... I didn't even do so myself. But I would have! If I had any candles at home at least... Let's better just forget about that again really quickly...

Anyways... I'm not really making any progress with any actual progress for the moment. Not that that would be my own fault or something... nooooo... of course not... how could one even think something like that?! *cough*
Fool's Flight will be on hold for the time being, though I guess the moment I upload this post my mind'll start gathering ideas on how I could get started on that or simply how to delve back into it, so to speak. After all, now with my Vaio back resting right beneath my fingertips I've got the outlines I've done for it a while go returned to me in a file format the machine can actually work with and even open it without throwing a fit.
Oh... oh and a few more ideas for the whole series are starting to grow more and more to my liking... can't spoil any of those though. Can't reveal anything now, can I?

On the personal side of things: I had a strange, yet somewhat enjoyable and fun night out last Friday before I returned to the frozen north of an imaginary world for most of the day yesterday. I had finished the main quest line on Friday morning already (can't really recall when it was), though strangely enough now after defeating the final boss the number of dragons stalking me started to rise drastically. Not quite what I had expected but I'll deal with it.
Aside from all that I actually slept for a while - yay - so I can assume I won't die due to fatigue anymore, or well... at least not today.

But that'll have to do for now. I'm really hungry at the moment and I should start working on solving that problem asap. Especially as there's not even a fruit salad around. Also I feel a headache growing on me... let's just hope it's a normal one and not my migraine wanting to say hello at the end of the year.

As always... thanks for reading. Feel free to check out the latest installment of Storytime to read more of the short I'm currently publishing on my blog - The Bamboo Labyrinth. And, of course, have a great day and a good start into the new week tomorrow.
Marc, I ain't no Honeybadger!

[RBS] Winter Wonderland

Oh my god... almost forgot it's Sunday.
I guess I'll keep it shorter than usual... to get back to what I was doing till right now - killing bandits! Yay!

So... where to begin?
First things first: The good news of the day! He's back! He's finally back home... my laptop apparently decided that this little vacation had been dragging on long enough for him(it) to fully recover and I could pick him up from the shop yesterday sometime around noon. And well... he's working again. He was returned to me with regards from Sony. They also let me know that they didn't do a single thing in order to repair it... Seems it just started working again...
The guy in the shop (not the one who took the laptop in) wasn't all that helpful to be honest so I stand, or yeah sit here still a bit baffled on what's going on... But yeah... It works so don't question it too much Marc...

Aside from all that good jazz I picked up The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim on the way back home... Boy what a mistake... Now I won't be getting anything done during the next few weeks.
I already put a few hours into the game and I have to say I enjoy it thoroughly so far. And as I'm a sucker for the cold, Nordic vibe of the game I personally can't really say anything bad about it. Of course there are a few glitches here and there but you can easily overlook them as far as I'm concerned and honestly... which game doesn't bug out from time to time?
I also like the fact that the game can be used as a hiking simulator from time to time... and be honest with yourself... who doesn't like running through a forest and catching bugs whilst being chased from various forms of wildlife and bandits from time to time, eh?

I'm still on the synopsis stuff... but yeah... that part of my weekend got hit in the face with a Nordic warhammer a couple of hours ago.
Yep... I've got no form of self-control whatsoever.

And I didn't even mention that it's also an MLG weekend...

In other not so exciting news... I managed to cut myself on a blanket made of fleece the other day... Beat that world!

Anyways... as always thanks for reading and back into the cold north!

[RBS] - Dire Forgetfulness

Fortunately for me, I may be forgetful at times, but usually not when it would really matter. Anyways hello fine ladies and gents and welcome to another Sunday full of extravagance, or well.. not so much.
In any case you are now here and will read on for the next five minutes (if it even takes you so long).

As usually I'd like to diverge from the every-day topics of this blog and turn to something a bit different. Again, fortunately, yet this time for you... this won't take up too much of your spare time. Yep... you guessed it... I'm just messing with you! Hurrah!
What would there be to talk about this week? Saying the phrase "nothing much" seems to turn into a habit, probably more bad than good of sorts, anyway... nothing much. At least alongside to the common affairs of Marc, Lord of Edinburgh. Most days of this week were devoted to further editing on 'Loner's Peak', adding roughtly another 3.000 words to the lot, despite all the cutting-sentenses that was also going on alongside.
I'm quite happy with how it turned out and I'm definitely drawing closer to a somewhat final version of my text.
Speaking of editing, I've been wasting a few thoughts on maybe wanting to do some re-editing on my 'old' World of Warcraft Fan-Fiction. There are still a couple (not to say a lot) little (and not so little) mistakes scattered throughout the text and a few of them start hurting my eyes when I spot those online. I REALLY should get around to clearing those out for good... But I also shouldn't get sidetracked too much right now.
'The Bamboo Labyrinth' has reached a stage which I would call good for inital release on the site. The end of it is still missing, but as it won't go up in one go that shouldn't be too much of an issue.
And concerning the upcoming week - if I shouldn't get my "better" pc returned to me by... let's say Wednesday, I'll probably start looking into re-writing the the first few pages I already had for Fool's Flight, getting the whole thing synced once the other machine is back home...

Aside from all the actual writy-writing - I'm currently thinking about reorganizing a few things on the blog. I've been playing around with a couple of the pages for a bit and I've developed a few ideas I'd love to use on the site.

Right now my private life is still pretty cat-less and lame to be honest. No super cool things planned up ahead or mega-awesome jobs of me clouded past. Nope... nothing like that. At least not yet...
Instead I watched Day[9] freaking out whilst playing 'Amnesia, the Dark Descent' Monday and Wednesday night (or yeah... the days afterwards actually - I'm not the kind of guy to stay up till 4 in the morning for stuff like that) and got on board of the Skyrim hype over the last few days. Getting nerdier with each day as time progresses... but I'm trying to counter-act with at least some fitness training. Let's hope it's not in vain as next week it's MLG time. (Weeh?) Oh, I'm such a sucker for events like that...
I'd still prefer any kind of (Beach-)Volleyball championships over it anytime but... yeah.. still no TV.
And for any of you who might be interessted in why I'm always going on about Volleyball (which shouldn't be too many people)... it's the only type of sport I've ever been good enough at to actually win a school-medal for. And I'm still proud of that... so yeah... that's just how pathetic it gets. No, but really... It's the sport I alway enjoyed the most durng my time still in school and I eventually came to be quite good at it.

Wow... I've been going on for ages here... got carried away a bit it seems. Ah never mind. I'll leave it at that. I origionally wanted to say a few things about Amnesia, the Dark Descent (headline *HINT HINT*) but it would be better to experience that kind of game at first hand anyhow... What I will say is that it's a horror title created by the guys over at Frictional Games (check out the 'Random'-page for a link) as it's name rightfully suggests and it's mostly known for being kind of ruthless. The game... the experience... the scares. It really is a one of a kind game, deserving all the praise it currently gets and by far more. One of the best story-focussed games out there, if you'd ask me that is.
But before fully drifting off course again. I'll give you one last link, some nice music from a different game I mentioned on this blog a good while ago and I'm off...

Enjoy your evening and as always thanks for reading and stopping by!

[RBS] - Crimson Bamboo Hearts

So, yeah... I almost missed out on todays update, sleeping away the day. November always makes me feel so sleepy. It's currently 17:30 as I'm writing this and it's already dark outside...
I really don't like this part of the year. It'll get a bit better when Christmas draws closer and people start decorating the windows with a few lights or when the first snow has fallen, lightening everything up a fair bit... but this time right now? It's just meh.

Anyways, as bitching about won't change a thing (unless somebody's so annoyed he/she buys me a house in Australia where I can live during the wintertime) I used a few of the brighter hours of the day for writing down the introduction for the bamboo and the shenanigans I'm planning for you.
On a less thoughtful note, yesterday I had the chance to watch 'The Crimson Rivers' and its sequel on TV with friends at their place. I've seen them before a couple of years ago, but both of them are fairly well made and heck... Jean Reno is the leading actor. Though personally I like the first one more, it seems ... a little bit more credible in my opinion. The story's at least a little bit better thought-out as a whole.

I think I'll already cut it off here for today... My head's somewhat indecisive whether to just fall asleep from one second to the other or keep on working on the short story. Either way, I'll prepare a nice little preview of that story, or at least an excerpt, for Tuesday. With a bit of luck it might even be already done till then.

Oh, there it goes again... have you ever wondered about the storyline behind something like the classical Super Mario Games published by Nintendo? How completely bizarre everything is and how it became even 'worse' over the years and funnily enough nobody really questions it anymore. It's like the feverdream of a junky come to life, but people just tend to accept it by now. But never mind.. this doens't really lead to any conclusion so... yeah.

As always, thanks for reading - feel free to check out the pages to my latest project 'Loner's Peak' or any of the previous Storytimes, if you haven't already.

[RBS] - In lack of a better headline ... bleugh!

Heyhey there... just wanted to pop in for a few things I wanted to say/share.

I'm still trying to convince myself to let today count as half a day off from writing, but it didn't really work out that well during the last 15 hours - though I didn't manage to get a lot done, it's still some major things I managed to make up my mind about.
Also: more convertion issues - yay! None of the pc's I know of, that are in the possesion of either me or a family member close to me are able to deceipher, let alone open something written on one of the other maschines ... let alone even open it. Ever since windows dropped the two-diget numbers the easy ways don't really want to work anymore... But well... could be worse I guess as I usually still manage to 'solve' the issue... not like my new-ish laptop who just doesn't even tries to acknowledge the pure existence of my mom's printer.
Which brings me to my laptop, which still is on holiday. ... probably partying every night, getting drunk off his harddrive, erasing data along the way.

On other news: had a nice night out with friends on Friday and got some zombie-killing-action going yesterday. Though I'm still not in my personal comfort zone with the zombies!!! game ... I've still not really figured out a typical "Marc-combo" ... and I'm starting to doubt there is one. But meh... time will tell.

For right now I think I'll head into the Dungeons of Dredmor for a while, killing off my current charakter and afterwards I'll either continue to tend to my story or maybe I'll re-watch The Godfather Part II.
I already watched the first one at the beginning of the week when I had my connection issues, so I might as well continue on with the other two. They are just so frikken long...!

tl;dr: I've got nothing really interesting to talk about, got some more work done - yay - and now I'm debating with myself on my spare time.

Anyways... have a great weekend and of course a frightful Halloween tomorrow.
Marc, the Rambler of Ramblings

Oct 23, 2011

[RBS] - What a beautiful day it is

..., indeed I dare say.
The week's drawing to a close, the world is turning colder by the day (at least on the northern hemisphere) and Christmas approaches! Yay!(Guess it hasn't been linked often enough already this year) But not to forget that Halloween's also still on the list. Just a little bit more than a week from now... Even more YaY!(Got to love that movie.. should really take the time and watch it again...,  maybe around next week.)

As for I now I'm currently editing a few things on Loner's Peak - so nothing out of the usual and I'm trying to get into the mood for writing more of the actual storyline. I already have the next few chapters all layed out for me in the back of my head, but sometimes it gets a bit tedious. So nothing out of the usual there. And as I already start with the writing stuff again even though I tried to secure the Sundays of the week for more bloggish stuff it seems not to really work out for me. Hrmpf...
Anyways, yesterday I took a day off the writing and editing and went to the anual "Freimarktsumzug" in Bremen. The "Freimarkt" is a two-week long fun fair typical for Bremen, taking place during the last two weeks of October each year. And there is usually a festive procession on one of the weekends during that time - I'm not too sure about the actual sheduling to be honest.
So we had some plain old fun, looking at the different floats, listening to bad music most of the time and standing in the cold. Could have been better - but could have also easily been worse. (There was free beer... if you were quick.)

Also: Spending hours and hour on searching texts and articles for wonderful topics like migration.. or integration.. or education of young children is kinda fun... ... ... No, not really. You got me on that one. But helping out members of the family is a good thing, amiright?

And as a final statement, I'd like to throw out that I still think lots of the things Blizzard Entertainment announced on this years Blizzcon for the upcoming expansion of WoW sounds like late (or early) April's Fools jokes.
But I grew maybe just a bit bitter over the last year or two concerning that particular game... ^^

But enough about me, more thinking about Jonathan Mortinson lies right ahead.
As always thanks for reading my ramblings and have a nice rest of the weekend and a great start into the next one. Adventures await!
Marc, the strawberry-flavored - maybe blood-flavored, but that doesn't quite sound as tasty...

[RBS] - Teh real stuff... for realz!

The weekend's still on its way strong (or already over, depending on where you live) and I'll try to use this blog post/afternoon to return from my own world of fantasy and back into the real world for a change.

But as per usual - nothing is as it seems and so I guess it was rather the other way around this week.
The last few days have been stream-tastic for me, as the IEM-Challenge of the ESL has been enriching these past three days of my live with afternoon/evening entertainment in terms of E-sports.
Yes I did it again! Though without the playing with hearts bit or losing at the game (Or did I? In fact, what is the game?) Currently it's my equivalent to watching football (soccer - for my American friends out there) on TV - though I'd still prefer the World Championships in (Beach-)Volleyball. But I don't think they're streaming that at all... Makes me miss having a TV once every year for a couple of days... And yes - you've read it right. I don't own a television.

Sadly the real world isn't as exciting as it could be right now, so I preferred to head back into the L.A. of my own alternate history timeline today, getting another page done and a few more re-edits going. I had the pleasure of rewriting a whole chapter during the night from Thursday to Friday - but I hinted at that in the last 'Story Time'. Fortunately the rewrite turns out to be as good as perfect - until I find something new that I don't like about it, that is...

On a different note: I'm still trying to outrun my family-curse, but it seems to be slowly catching up to me. Curse I say? Yes curse I saythest! I don't want to be a teacher  D:  Help!

As I'll be continuing to panic about that over the rest of the day, I should probably go ahead and give my plant (yes...singular) some water by the looks of it. Yeah just caught that from the corner of my eyes...

And yet again it is more pointless ramblings and less focused than I had hoped for it to be. Maybe I'll rethink this format for Sundays again, maybe not... I should give it a few more weeks. Life's not all that exciting at the moment unfortunately, haven't seen any new good movies, played new games, read new book or whatnot.... aw well... suggestions are appreciated.

That said I'll leave you guys and girls alone again for the time being (at least 'till Tuesday). In the meantime feel free to check out Friday's Story Time if you haven't already.
Some more random music for you to enjoy, and off I am.

As always thanks for reading - have a great day (even if it's Monday)!

[RBS] - The blogginging carries on

And here we are in the third (but not final) new subsection.. 'Random Bloggy Stuff' and yeah I know... the abbreviation could also mean something different... yeah I noticed it - but never mind! We will just carry on without EVER questioning it... Yeah... As if that would happen.

Yet on to the none-existing topic for now... it feels a bit awkward dedicating a whole post to this stuff and it's the more strange as I don't really know what to write about today (the more comical after all the blogging in between the actual updates I used to do), but last week was rather slow I guess. I spent a good amount of time with getting up at 4 o'clock in the morning only for watching a stream on the interwebz - of course after writing it, it feels even more pathetic. Aside from that there really wasn't much going on - I was mostly caught up with the usual stuff... getting on with the story-development of 'Loner's Peak' and the following parts as well as taking down notes for the other stuff I working on. (Plus trying to also do a bit o' studying on the side of it all)
As of most recent event I spent a really great afternoon yesterday with a couple of friends at a Rock Contest in the community center of one of Bremen's city districts, because they performed there. Even though they did not win the grand prize (a strange little award which was 'not too big but it glows' as the supervisor of this little event put it), I personally think they did a great job - we all really enjoyed the afternoon and their performance was really great in my opinion (Band name: 'Jet Elmer'). This opinions is not biased at all... NOT AT ALL... (but in all honesty - I really like their music)
So... now that I'm through with all that and there is nothing left to write about... let's talk about the weather for a bit: It's f***ing freezing... 'nuff said...

So yeah - I think I will leave it at this for today and I'm sure there will be lots and lots of wonderful, colorful things and actual randomness happening in my life in the near future that I can write about and annoy you with.

Hrm... I do feel kinda tempted to put something up from the stuff I wrote for 'Nightingale' today as I tried to get the first part done for that, so I can put it to rest for another half year or so. But I guess I'll keep that in store for Tuesday. *harhar*

As always thank you very much for reading (my pointless ramblings today). Have a great rest of the day.
Marc, the so very very confused.

P.S.: Classic kitten coming up.
